Presence Over Paychecks: What Women Really Want
What often gets lost in the shuffle are the intentions that sparked that go-getter perspective. It’s not that provision doesn’t matter. It’s that provision without presence erodes relationships.

Sometimes protecting your peace looks like rudeness to other people. The same people who will rudely inquire about your personal business, will call you rude for not responding. And in the past, I’d answer, because nothing mattered more than being “nice.” I had to protect my image.
