Whether we realize it or not, all day long we are telling ourselves stories. In our thoughts, we are hearing ourselves predicting outcomes. We are thinking about whether we’ll win or lose, how things play out for us and others. We’re affirming beliefs.

When life happens—whether good or bad—depending on what we are used to, we tell ourselves certain stories. We think things like, “This always happens to me,” “of course that happened for them,” or “they always do this.” And moment by moment we solidify beliefs by telling ourselves stories.
I was heading to bed the other night, and an idea that I learned from Abraham-Hicks, came to me. In one recording they teach about telling a better story. And if we want our lives to change it starts with the stories we’re repeating in our minds.
