What’s on Your Mind?

New month. New topic.

This month I’m tackling the challenge of overcoming constant anxiety, angst, and worry. Although I know that much goes into the body’s fear responses, I do believe that I can gain more control over my life by reducing some of my unhelpful habits.

Today, on my podcast I talk about how I intend to use this month to create new habits regarding how I deal with anxious thoughts. Rather than attempt to stop anxious thoughts, which isn’t really logical. I am choosing to use the anxious thoughts to create more helpful habits.

I’ve already started this intentional shift in awareness and I’m seeing results. I explain things more fully on today’s podcast and I believe you will gain much value from it. Maybe anxiety isn’t your thing, but another emotion tends to take over in ways that you wouldn’t prefer.

Check out today’s podcast, and see if you too can utilize this simple practice to shift your habits of thought.

Blessings!

Today, I came to a realization about myself. Although, I am fully aware that I struggle with anxiety, I discovered during the podcast that I am wired to be anxious no matter what state I’m in. (It’s kinda hard to fully explain. I tell it all on the podcast.)

Today’s revelation led me to consider my new challenge for next month. I believe I will use April to help me get a little bit better control of my tendency toward worry.

Worry is a habit of thought. And habits don’t have to be permanent. We can be intentional and create new habits to help release the unsupportive ones. That’s what I’m planning for next month.

Check out today’s episode to hear the story that brought me to this discovery.

It’s Not Just Fear Holding You Back

On today’s episode of Share & Let’s Live! with Marlene Dillon Empowerment Specialist, I discovered that although fear is present, that’s not what’s been holding me back.

The Gift of Giving Up

If you’ve been following me for the last few weeks… months… lol… you know that life’s been lifin’. Before I could recover from one blow, I’d get hit with another. Sometimes WHILE I was actively dealing with one problem, another came….

Anywho… I had been navigating through the life’s cesspool for a while, trying to keep it positive, but honestly a few days ago, I had reached my limit.

I talk about what happened (and honestly tell more of this story than I feel comfortable sharing in writing) on today’s podcast. If you care to hear the rest, check out “The Gift of Giving Up” above or on SoundCloud below.
