On Affirming “I Don’t Care”

Sometimes the best thing we can do is affirm “I don’t care,” and let it go. For our mental health, for us to function when life is too much, we have to choose to let some things not keep our attention. This isn’t about not caring about people or world issues or things that directly affect you. This is about choosing that some things on this day are not worth your limited number of f*cks. And on any given day we get to choose what we will, and will not, care about.
