On today’s podcast, I address something that occurs in so many relationships. People say you have to set strong boundaries. That’s true. People also say, “that’s your family, you always gotta be there for family.” That’s…. often true. There are only so many hours in a day, and we only have so much energy….

Today, I talk about how sometimes for the sake our priorities we may step over our boundaries. When we do, we need to be kind to ourselves and not feel we’ve betrayed ourselves. Some days that is the best or only logical choice. And we get to own that choice.
I talk today about the importance of knowing when to be flexible with our boundaries, and the importance of bringing our priorities into consideration. I also address the concept of the “sandwich generation” —which includes those whose focus is split between raising their children and being available for aging parents.
This is a really great podcast episode, that addresses boundaries and who, how, and what we prioritize in relationships. I highly recommend you check it out.
