If you asked me, I would not label myself as a #workaholic… well, not until today. lol Today, I was inspired to rest… like not do work… and it was the hardest thing!

I didn’t realize that what I call downtime is working while I do “mindless” activities. I “rest” by watching Netflix while I clean.
I guess since… ADHD… it takes so much time for me to complete things that I don’t really feel downtime is something I get to have. So when it’s time to chill, I just don’t really know how to do that for real. And, today, I tried.
It was such an eye-opening experience for me. AND I continued the “work” I began yesterday of developing or more positive attitude. I was doing good for a while, but…. those old tendencies started to waft up. And I realized that when we are developing new habits that we have to be kind to ourselves and take it a moment at a time. Habits take time and repeated decisions to continue toward our intentions…
Anywho, that’s what I talk about on today’s #podcast.
