Sometimes the best we can do is acknowledge things are out of our control and just roll with it. Some days you have work to do but you’re not feeling well and can’t work through it. Eff it. Get that rest. Some times life happens and you’re out of resources. You could be mad at yourself, at life, at whoever, or you can just take a second and accept that the situation is as it is and being upset is just making a bad situation worse.

I had to do that today. I honestly was p*ssed. I had WORK to do, but I could physically stay awake. Nothing I did was giving me energy to get through it, so I just had to give up and take that nap. And I had to stop being pissed at myself for being exhausted.

I wasn’t even gonna post this podcast because I was so tired that I was just gonna go to bed. Instead. I didn’t edit much. And I’m leaving like that. Because it is what it is. Life isn’t always perfect. So today’s podcast won’t be either. And I’m not about to do the meme. I’m posting this, getting something to eat, and going to bed. Sometimes we just have to give ourselves room to be human.
